Is Your Marketing Integrated?

Integrated marketing is a strategy for delivering a unified message across all the marketing channels that your brand uses. It provides consistency wherever customers choose to interact with a company. Without an integrated marketing strategy, you risk delivering mixed messages or communicating in a disconnected voice.

When marketing your business, you want to make sure that all of your marketing channels are communicating the same general message, although catered to the channels specific format. For example, some channels don’t use hashtags, while others, like Instagram, rely on them to get your content in front of users.

Here are some tips for integrating and catering your content on just a few of our preferred channels:

  • Instagram: Figure out and create reels. They are HOT right now because Instagram and TikTok are competing for market share.

  • Facebook: Connect your Facebook Page to your Instagram account so that whenever you post to Instagram, it automatically shares on your Facebook page. You want to make sure and do a quick check to make sure that everything transferred correctly and that no hashtags appear on Facebook (they are not used on this platform).

  • Email: By feeding your email newsletter with your blog content, you are not only creating less work for yourself, but you’re also driving traffic to your website which helps a lot with SEO!

  • Blog: A blog is a great way to provide exclusive behind the scenes information about your product or brand. It’s a great way to upsell and promote products or services.

  • YouTube: If video is your thing, YouTube is a great place to post horizontally oriented content. You’ll also want to embed your YouTube feed on your blog.

There are many more channels that should be considered when planning out your marketing roadmap. Laying out all of your marketing efforts will help ensure that your execution is successful.
